What I have learned in this class!!

I have learned in this class that there are many types of technology that we can use, that I had never actually heard of. I think that I would use in my class a voki, or a web 2.0, or a project that we did with the Mac I liked these projects because it introduced me to the Mac and to different programs that I had never heard of. Another thing that I would use in my classroom is having a green screen and making I movies with the students, I liked this activity because it was fun and very enlightening. In all this class was very interesting and educational.

Future of Technology

What is the future of technology? Well I would have to say that technology is amazing right now and I would have to believe that later in the future it will be more amazing to the point that they have a cure for dizeases and having ways to travel at the speed of light. Just to be a little scifi but I would have to actually say that if they were to make it in the future I would think that they would make machines that make you able to fly and all sorts of things.
Another thing that I think would impact people in the future as technology increases is that their faith may lesson because they depend more on technology than they would on God. I believe that people depend more on substance than on God.

Proper Online Etiquette

Netiquette is things that you say or do online that is basically a way to be curtious, or considerate online. http://www.youthonline.ca/safety/netiquette.shtml also this website that I found is awsome because it is a great place for youth to go to and read and interact with the text. It basically states to youth that you need to not shout out in any net things, and other rules that they need to follow. It helps to understand somethings before you get into a more upbeat fast paced informational video. If you like that better anyway. Things are better if you understand it before you joke about it.

Cyberbullying

Cyberbullying is when a student or child is being threatened, harrased, embarrased, or tormented. The child who is on the recieving line of the bullying is usually scarred for quite a while. Digital Citizenship for Teachers

Digital Citezenship for teachers can be bad or good, depending on how the teacher does their online environment. Some teachers have recently been in the news for things they have posted on facebook about their students being so so and so, basically they are not being very kind online. Teachers should be very careful for what they put online and what pictures and what kind of language they use. This can make the job for teachers harder than what it should be. Teachers should teach the students what is appropriate and what is inappropriate for online usage in the classroom. Some of the things that need to be taught is how to be safe, how to use internet sources, and other things that are interconnected.

Digital Citizenship for students

Digital citizenship for students is important because it can make or break a student. It is no longer just outside the home but also in the classroom, with phones that have internet access, and in class computers that are able to get on MySpace or Facebook. Students need to treat each other with respect and keep their dignity in tact. They are to make their posts respectable and making sure that if they were to post something that they wouldn't care if someone else posted the same thing on their page. Internet Validity-Bogus Websites

Some websites are completely fake. They are out there for jokes, but some people cannot tell the difference between fact and fiction. Some things you must do is look at several sites to make sure that they are stating the same things. I have used some of these sites not knowing what they were. Some of these sites that are halarious are http://www.buydehydratedwater.com/ http://zapatopi.net/treeoctopus/ and these are just to name a few that have obvious falsities. The tree octopus and buying dehydrated water are hopefully obvious bogus websites. There are plenty of other sites that you can look at just type in google, bogus websites and you will get a plethera of them.

Fair Use and Copyright

Copyright has some advantages and disadvantages. Some of the advantages it has is that you cannot copy anything that people have put their hard work into. I think that it is a good idea to make it illegal for people to copy things that are copyrighted. Some of the things that I don't like about it is that it is illegal for you to show a movie to your classroom for a treat, I find this a little out of range. I think that if you bought the movie, you should be able to show it to whomever you want, as long as you are not making them pay to watch it. Some things that as a Christian it makes the implication that you have to follow the rules, and since some of these things are a little out there for me, I know that I have bent the rules a little at one time or another out of ignorance.
Out of this fact it is generally a good idea for copyright and fair use.

Christian Worldview

My Christian worldview is this: I belive that Christ died for us so that we could be wiped clean of our sin. I believe that God exists, he is omniscient-all knowing, omnipresent-always there everywhere, and omnipotent-all powerful. He loves us and wants us to become like him, because all of heaven weaps when a child of his accepts him into their heart. Accepting God into your heart is the only way you can be reunited with Christ, it is important to do this, because without this you will not inherit the richness of his love and be shut out of heaven. He will never leave or forsake those who come to him. One day he will come back for his followers, dead and alive. He will take us up in an instant by the blowing of a trumpet. If you believe in him and believe that he died for your sins and took them with him onto the cross, then you will be saved.
